The story of The Dunbar illustrates the dangers of sea travel in the 1800's and is more evidence as to why Lawrence Hargrave developed a life long dream to develop powered human flight as a safer means to transport people more quickly from one side of the world to the other.

Our aim is to draw attention to the pioneering contribution that
Lawrence Hargrave made to the development of human flight,
as well as championing his interest in the natural heritage
and cultural development of Stanwell Park.

We are available for exhibitions, displays of Lawrence Hargrave models and educational activities.
